Alfredo Cervantes (President and CEO)
Alfredo Cervantes, Ph.D., P.E. is the owner/president of the company and responsible for its daily operations. He has worked in the past with reputed companies like Carter & Burgess (now in Jacobs), Lopez Garcia Group (now in URS), and TRCWW. He is certified as professional engineer in ten states. Mr. Cervantes has very extensive experience in most of the structural engineering software as well as CAD software. Mr. Cervantes has more than 30 years of experience as professional structural engineer and is a member of the ASCE, AISC, SEAoT, ACI institutions for many years.
His graduate studies were supported by scholarships from Mexico’s National Science Foundation for a Ph.D. in the University of Colorado and a master’s degree in the University of Texas at UTEP. His bachelor’s degree is from UACJ in Mexico, where he was seven years later the Dean of Engineering Graduate School.
He has a broad experience in most structural types of buildings applied for: commercial, industrial, hospitality, educational, structures for telecommunication antennas, airports (DFW & Love Field, Alliance airport), etc. The structural experience ranging from steel framed structures, tilt-up wall systems, reinforced concrete buildings, reinforced concrete water treatment facilities, wood framing structures used for multi-family residential & custom homes. Also, has done numerous existing condition assessments of structures and their adaptions to new buildings walls and columns layout.
Mr. Cervantes has coauthored a paper with Dr. Sriram Kalaga “Planar beam-columns subject to large deflections” Proceedings of the First Asian-Pacific Congress on Computational Mechanics. Sidney, N.S.W. Australia, 20-23 November2001.ELSEVIER.
Mr. Cervantes & Mr. Kalaga have been working since almost 20 years ago in different structural projects in the DFW area.
